You probably received a college degree that you spent years working for, and you thought that happiness would be possible after you got it. But that was not true, because after finding a job, you continued to suffer. You have to realize that happiness is not something you find at the end of the road. It is here, now 

ما در ره عشق تو اسیران بلاییم
کس نیست چنین عاشق بیچاره که ماییم
بر ما نظری کن که درین شهر غریبیم
بر ما کرمی کن که در این شهر گداییم
زهدی نه که در کنج مناجات نشینیم
وجدی نه که بر گرد خرابات برآییم
نه اهل صلاحیم و نه مستان خرابیم
اینجا نه و آنجا نه، چه قومیم و کجاییم؟

Love is not selective, just as the light of the sun is not selective. It does not make one person special. It is not exclusive. Exclusivity is not the love of God but the "love" of ego. However, the intensity with which true love is felt can vary. There may be one person who reflects your love back to you more clearly and more intensely than others, and if that person feels the same toward you, it can be said that you are in a love relationship with him or her. The bond that connects you with that person is the same bond that connects you with the person sitting next to you on a bus, or with a bird, a tree, a flower. Only the degree of intensity with which it is felt differs.

the more a person becomes spiritually minded or advances towards God, the more tolerant he becomes and the less differentiation he sees

When true love is awakened in the aspirant, it leads him to the realization of God and opens up the unlimited field of lasting and unfading happiness
